From our living room, we can see the Rangitoto, an active volcano in Auckland Bay.
We climbed it with Chacha this week end to observe the spendid view from above. It took approx. an hour to walk up there.

24h flight, 30h trip
I arrived in Auckland the 1st of Feb, after a long long journey! At the arrival, Charlotte and Fred (my sister and her fiance) were waiting for me at the airport. We had a 1st coffee on the waterfront to "celebrate" my 1st steps in New Zealand!
Despite the 12h difference, I managed to move all day to open a bank account, get a phone... the basis of what you need when you arrive in a new country.
Week end quite calm, resting and recovering from the jet lag, to be in great shape for my 1st day at work.
I work in the human resources' department of Pernod Ricard. The team is very nice and welcoming. I alreay have a lot of work to do so no time to be bored!!
